Dr. rer. nat. Christof Nagel

Christof Nagel studied Physics in Halle/Saale and obtained his doctorate at the Christian Albrechts University of Kiel under Prof. Faupel. In 1999, he was employed as a post-doctoral student at the University of Texas, Austin, USA. Since 2000, he has worked as a Scientific Employee at IFAM in the Adhesive Bonding Technology and Surfaces Institute Section. From 2000 to 2008, Nagel dealt with near-application research in the field of adhesive bonding technology in the sectors relating to automobile construction, shipbuilding, rail vehicle construction and wind energy installation engineering. Since 2009, he has been the Group Leader for Structural calculation and numerical simulation.
