Dr.-Ing. Gert Ahlers-Hestermann


Gert Ahlers-Hestermann ended his studies in Materials Engineering at the Technical University of Hanover in 1969. He subsequently obtained a doctor's degree there in 1973 on the subject of the Material flow during moulding with a flash. He was employed as a Plant Manager at Carl. Dan. Peddinghaus in Ennepetal, between 1973 and 1977 and at the Michelin tyre factories in Clermont-Ferrand and Karlsruhe from 1978 to 1985. He worked as a Technical Manager at the Siepmann factories in Warstein from 1985 to 1987 and at Peiner Umformtechnik from 1987 to 1989. Until his retirement in 2005, he performed the tasks as the Research and Development Manager within the business management at the Böllhoff group in Bielefeld. After 15 years of technical management, he now advises the company.
