Dr.-Ing. Friedhelm Fischer


Dr. Ing. Friedhelm Fischer, born in 1954, training to become a Machine Fitter and a State-Certified Technician. Studies in Mechanical Engineering at the Rhineland University of Applied Sciences in Cologne and at the Rhineland-Westphalia Technical University (RWTH) in Aachen. From 1984 to 1989, a Scientific Employee at the Institute for Machine Elements and Machine Design at RWTH Aachen and a Part-Time Lecturer at the University of Applied Sciences in Aachen. At that time, deployment in teaching and as a Project Manager in various research projects focusing on plastic composite elements in drive technology. In 1989, doctor's degree on the dynamic operating behaviour of belt drives. Since 1989, the Director of the Metal and Technology Centre of the Koblenz Chamber of Handicrafts and, since 1995, the Director of the Course Centre for Plastics Processing. Execution of various technologically oriented economic promotion and near-economy research projects, collaboration in various advisory boards of the federal state government and other national bodies as well as, since 1993, a Part-Time Lecturer at the University of Applied Sciences in Koblenz. Since 2001, the Chairman of tibb e. V. which is also home to the expert group called High-Performance Plastics.
