Dipl.-Ing. Steffen Wietzke

Dipl. Ing. Steffen Wietzke studied Materials Sciences (interdisciplinary advanced subject consisting of Mechanical Engineering, Electrotechnology, Chemistry and Physics) at TU Brunswick. After his degree with honours (in 2006), he became a Scientific Employee in the Terahertz Systems Engineering working group of Prof. Martin Koch, initially at the Institute for High-Frequency Technology at TU Brunswick. In 2009, he followed Prof. Koch to the Philipps University of Marburg. In January 2009, he received the first prize in the Patent Award 2008 which is endowed with Euro 25,000 and is the future prize of IP Bewertungs AG (IPB). He will probably complete his doctorate at the end of 2010.
