Dipl.-Wirtsch.-Ing. Norman Krumbholz


Dipl. Wirtsch. Ing. Norman Krumbholz studied Economics and Engineering, with Electrotechnology as the field of specialisation, at the Technical University of Brunswick. He wrote his dissertation focusing on THz communication at the Rice University in Houston, Texas (USA). From the middle of 2005 to the start of 2010, he worked as a Scientific Employee at the Institute for High-Frequency Technology at TU Brunswick and predominantly dealt with the development and application of fibre-contact THz spectrometers. At the beginning of 2009, he received first prize in the Patent Award 2008, the future prize of IP Bewertungs AG. At the end of 2009, he was honoured with the Otto von Guericke Prize from the Federation of Industrial Research Associations (AiF). Since March 2010, Mr. Krumbholz has been employed in Technical Development at Volkswagen AG in Wolfsburg in the Vehicle Acoustics division.
