Dr.-Ing. Joachim Natrop

Following his time as a research assistant at the University of Paderborn, Joachim Natrop obtained his PhD in plastics technology under Professor Potente in 1992. From 1992 to 1995, he worked in this field as a senior engineer at the University of Paderborn. After a year (1995–1996) as technical operations manager in a plastics processing company specialising in injection moulding, he took on a new role in 1996 as Head of Technology, Development and Design in the field of special-purpose machinery, plastic welding systems and tools at Bielomatik Leuze GmbH+Co. From 2006 to 2009, he headed up innovation management for the plastics technology division there. Since 2010, Dr Natrop has been a member of the Executive Board at KLN Ultraschall AG.
