Dr.-Ing. Ingo Kurzhöfer
Dr. Ing. Ingo Kurzhöfer studied Civil Engineering with Higher Mechanics as the advanced subject at the University of Duisburg-Essen. He subsequently worked as a Scientific Employee at the Institute for Mechanics at the University of Duisburg-Essen and obtained his Dr. Ing. degree in 2006 on the subject of Multiscale modelling of polycrystalline ferroelectric materials based on discrete orientation distribution functions. At present, he works at the Institute for Statics of LGA Bautechnik GmbH in Nuremberg. There, he is responsible for the numerical simulations of components and structures mainly with the aid of the finite element method (FEM).
