M. Sc. Josef Weiland

Josef Weiland studied mechanical engineering with a specialisation in production engineering at RWTH Aachen University. He completed his studies in 2017 with a Master of Science degree. Since then, he has been working as a research assistant at the Institute of Welding and Joining Technology at RWTH Aachen University in the Department of Adhesive Bonding Technology. His research focuses on the non-destructive condition monitoring of bonded joints. In addition to his work as a scientist, he completed training as a welding engineer in 2017 and as a European Adhesive Engineer in 2018/2019
