Dr.-Ing. Annika Bonhoff

Dr Annika Bonhoff (née Völl) holds a master's degree in physics from RWTH Aachen University. In 2020, she was awarded a doctorate in engineering for her work on application-adapted beam shaping in laser material processing. From 2020 to 2023, she worked as a junior research group leader in "Computational Optics" at the Chair of Optical Systems Technology before taking over as deputy head of the chair as a senior engineer in 2024. Dr Bonhoff's research interests lie in the design and application of novel beam shaping elements in optical systems for laser beam shaping and EUV technology.
