M. Sc. Jonathan Alms
From 2012 to 2016, Jonathan Alms completed a bachelor's degree in physics at RWTH Aachen University, specialising in condensed matter. He then continued his studies at RWTH Aachen University and completed a master's degree in experimental physics, also specialising in condensed matter, from 2016 to 2018. In March 2019, he began working as a research assistant at the Institute for Plastics Processing. There, he worked in the Structural Calculation and Materials Engineering Department until 2024, where he headed the working group for digital image processing, Industry 4.0 and materials engineering. Since January 2025, he has been head of the Fibre-Reinforced Plastics and Polyurethanes Department at the Institute of Plastics Processing.
