Prof. Dr. rer. nat. Rainer Dahlmann ist Professor an der RWTH Aachen und Wissenschaftlicher Direktor am Institut für Kunststoffverarbeitung in Industrie und Handwerk an der RWTH Aachen (IKV). Er lehrt unter anderem das Fach Werkstoffkunde der Kunststoffe. Darüber hinaus leitet er das Zentrum für Kunststoffanalyse und -prüfung (KAP) am IKV.
